Yeah and Yuck! Today

We finally got the countertop and carpenter to the house to install the countertop and sink!!  Hurray!

The yucky part of the day.  I met up with a several cockroaches today and at one point as I turned back to my can of paint, there was a cockroach floating in the paint!  He was quickly flung out the door.  You probably can't distinguish the cockroach from the paint but he's there!  Yuck!!!

Some Work Done, Some Trouble Found

Another coat on the blue and then the tan at the bottom in the kitchen/dining room.

The plumbers came back to put in the pipes for the tub and shower.  Now we need to fix the tiles and then we can actually have a shower.

The plumbers hooked up the sink in the half bath!

The bad news - it rained really hard and without the gutter on the back of the house, water found its way into the laundry room and trailing into the den.  Thankfully, new carpet and flooring isn't down in there yet.  But now we need to work at sealing out the water and getting a new gutter and cleaning up the mess.  We really didn't need any more work.

Keep on Painting

My room with curtains and painting almost all complete.  Finished the bottom trim and working on finishing inside the closet.

The hallway finished being painted cream color and added brown stripe.
